I cannot WAIT to reveal all the projects I've been able to complete with the December kit from The Scrap Room! I know I say it every month, but trust me on this: December is NOT the month to miss out on this kit...it is loaded, it is fabulous, and it is a must-have for you scrappers out there. If you can't get one for yourself, then maybe you could suggest it on your wish list to Santa! ;)
So I got to work with the Jillibean Soup part of the kit for my "Sneak Peek" layout. This photo cracks me up EVERY TIME I see it. Last year on Christmas Day, my little guy was walking around my parents' house with my mom's reading glasses on. We immediately thought of Ralphie on "A Christmas Story" (who doesn't love that movie?!) and made him hold my dad's Red Ryder BB gun and pose in front of the tree for this hilarious picture. Doesn't he look like Ralphie?!! Sooooooo funny!
The little mittens at the top are my favorite! They were just a part of one of the patterned papers included in the kit, but I cut them each out and strung them at the top with some white thread. :) If you look closely at the presents at the bottom (also cut out from patterned paper), you will see that one of the presents says, "To: Ralphie" in white ink. hehehe!
